Media Habitat, c. 1975 unearths the archives of the audio-visual programme that was part of Habitat, the UN Conference on Human Settlements held in Vancouver in 1976. Looking at the visual culture and knowledge structures that Habitat aspired to produce, the installation examines the mechanisms of international aid and the construction of an imaginary of the Global South.
