"Dolphin Embassy" (1974-1978) was an enigmatic speculative research project to establish democratic relations between humans and dolphins by San Francisco-based collective Ant Farm. Under the motto "Contact, communication, and co-evolution," the project encompassed architectural drawings for an embassy vessel, schematics for video-based interspecies communication, and a feature-length film script.

In conjunction with the Mishkin Gallery's exhibition "Who Speaks for the Oceans?", Ant Farm founding members Chip Lord and Curtis Schreier join Mishkin Gallery's Alexandra Tell for an online conversation to discuss the legacy of this complex and alluring project.
